A
new private hire taxi company based in Norwich required a system to
provide blanket coverage of Norwich City centre and communication
over an area of up to 30km radius.
Solution:
We
have supplied and installed a VHF PBR radio system with a remote
controlled base station at a city centre tower block antenna site.
Control of the base station is initially by reverse frequency working
from a fixed radio station in the taxi office. As the company gains
more business and more mobiles are added to the fleet they may need
to change to land-line control
